FACILITIES

We provide a home- like environment with classrooms arranged by age/ stage of development. Our facility follows all the State of Delaware Office of Childcare Licensing safety standard. The building  also includes security cameras, key- coded door, and emergency exits. Not only will your child be safe, but will enjoy a busy day with age appropriate learning, arts and crafts, free time to help develop there imagination. Twice a day they have recess on a playground surrounded by beautiful University of Delaware farm land. 

CURRICULUM

NCC uses the Highscope and Abeka curriculum, with an emphasis on teacher- directed, hands on learning activities through dramatic play, blocks, art, toys, games, language, literacy, and outdoor play.

TEACHERS

Our teachers are the ones who make the magic happen at NCC! All teachers are certified as interns, assistant teachers, or teachers. Our teachers are caring, knowledgeable in early childhood education, experienced in working with young children, loving and very energetic! 

NUTRITION

NCC participates in the Children and Adult Food Care Program (CAFCP), a federally- funded food program made available by the US Department of Agriculture and administered by the state of Delaware. Nutritious meals are provided for all children. NCC is a nut- free facility.
